1. I do not meet all the conditions of the call for applications. Will my application proceed to the evaluation stage?
No. The application must meet all the terms and conditions of the call.
2. My programme of study is distance learning. Can I apply?
No, scholarships are only awarded for full-time programmes at the place of study, unless distance learning is preferred by the university due to circumstances of force majeure or public health protection.
3. How many faculties can I list on my application?
You can list up to 3 universities in the same or different countries.
4. Can I apply for more than one level of study or scientific field?
No. The application is only for postgraduate programmes and one scientific field.
5. The scientific field of my desired studies is not listed in the call. Will my application be accepted?
No. Only applications submitted for the scientific fields listed in the call will be accepted. The scientific fields for which OKTA AD – Skopje, member of HELLENiQ ENERGY awards scholarships are very specific and related to the Company's activities.
6. I will complete my degree in June 2026. Am I eligible to apply?
Yes, you are eligible to apply. However, during the evaluation of applications, priority is given to candidates who have secured final acceptance or are already enrolled in the programme.
7. I have already started my studies. Can I apply to complete them
For studies abroad (only in the countries listed in the call): If the period remaining from the start of the programme is at least 9 months, based on an official certificate of enrolment.
For studies in the Republic of North Macedonia: If the period remaining from the start of the programme is at least 6 months, based on a certificate of enrolment.
Scholarships are not awarded retroactively for any of the programmes.
8. Does the scholarship also cover living expenses?
The scholarships primarily cover tuition fees and, under certain conditions, may also include additional financial support to cover part of the living expenses, in accordance with the terms of the call.
For studies in Republic of North Macedonia:
For postgraduate programs with tuition fees up to €2,000, additional financial support of €200 per month may be granted to cover part of the living expenses, provided that both the income and geographical criteria are cumulatively met.
For studies abroad:
For postgraduate programs with tuition fees up to €2,000, additional financial support of €600 per month may be granted to cover part of the living expenses.
The duration of the scholarship is calculated based on the minimum duration specified by the academic regulations for the specific year and program.
9. What is the deadline for submitting applications and supporting documents?
The deadline for submitting applications is 18 May 2026.
10. How are applications and supporting documents submitted? Can I submit them in person or by post?
Applications can only be submitted online via the website https://scholarships.helleniqenergy.gr/rnm
Supporting documents must be attached to the online application. It is not possible to submit them in person at the offices of OKTA AD – Skopje or to send them by post. Online applications that are not accompanied by the required supporting documents cannot be submitted permanently and, therefore, cannot undergo the review and evaluation process.
11. Are interviews conducted with candidates?
Yes. Interviews with pre-selected scholarship candidates are conducted online.
12. How will I be informed if I have been awarded the scholarship or not?
The results are posted on the website and at https://scholarships.helleniqenergy.gr/rnm, and all scholarship applicants are notified by personal email.
13. Can I appeal if my scholarship application is not approved?
No. The number of applications submitted is large and does not allow all candidates to be accepted, even if they are of a high standard. It should be noted that the Evaluation Committee decides at its own discretion whether or not to award a scholarship, after examining all the parameters for all candidates. The Evaluation Committee reserves the right to reject any application, even if it meets all the requirements. The Evaluation Committee is not obliged to justify its decision, whether to reject or accept an application. By submitting an application for a scholarship, the candidate expressly and irrevocably declares that they unreservedly accept all the terms of the announcement and the relevant application/declaration of responsibility.
